Ernie Miller park is a 113-acre naturalistic park that is a peaceful getaway
from the hustle of daily life. Throughout the park, trails weave in and out of
woodlands, over and alongside creeks, and across meadows. The Center
provides an opportunity for learning, understanding, and admiring nature's
ever-changing ways. The Center contains displays, live animals, and Nature's Corner
Gift Shop.

The Nature Sanctuary has a wide variety of natural habitats represented
within its boundaries. North Missouri habitats represented include hardwood
forest, old-field succession, open meadow, limestone glen, marsh, pond, creek,
and restored prairie. The Nature Center is a focal point of the site and has
displays and exhibits which explain much of the natural history of the area.

A unique look at the natural history of the tall grass prairie. There are 300
acres of native tall grass, 7 ponds, a 5 acre lake, primitive camp sites, buffalo
wallows, fishing, cross-country skiing and a variety of educational programs. Enjoy a
self-guided tour on miles of nature trails.
