The farmstead is set up as a miniature farm complete with a silo and barn, the farmstead provides kids with a close-up look at a wide variety of typical farm animals, including ducks, horses, goats, chickens, pigs and rabbits. Even not-so-typical animals such as a peacock and buffalo are present. Picnic tables on the park grounds provide the perfect setting for a mid-afternoon snack. For tours call 381-5701 Ext 740. You've got to get out there Now! The Zoo is jumpin, with lots of new critters, new exhibits and tons of Kids activities. The African exhibit, which made the Zoo the tenth largest in the country, features more than 400 animals in naturalistic settings. The Zoo offers several seasonal rides and special events throughout the year. |
